As a backend engineer, you will:

Job requirements


  • Extensive experience (4+ years) of building enterprise ready platforms for handling high transactional volumes of customer requests and supporting it into production.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring framework
  • Hands-on micro services and architecture experience using Spring boot, RabbitMQ, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools in a multi-site environment (Jenkins, Git)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with DevOps toolsets and maintaining DevOps platforms for one or more teams
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
  • Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.)
  • Self-starter and strong, quick problem solving skills
  • Experience with scale and high-traffic applications
  • Experience with different non functional conformance aspects like security, reliability and high availability


  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Have written code with Python or wrote simple web applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Prior startup experience is fantastic (but not necessary); being scrappy will help you hit the ground running.
